India is continuing to push its artificial intelligence ambitions onto the global stage. The IndiaAI Mission, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), has announced the second cohort of startups selected for its Global Acceleration Programme—an initiative designed to help homegrown AI ventures expand internationally.

Developed in collaboration with Station F—widely regarded as the world’s largest startup campus—and HEC Paris, the programme brings together ten promising Indian startups working across diverse sectors, including health tech, climate tech, education, satellite intelligence, and cognitive AI.

Building Global AI Champions

The programme is part of the IndiaAI Mission’s broader Startup Financing Pillar, aimed at equipping emerging companies with the tools needed to compete globally. Each selected startup gains access to mentorship, international networks, and market exposure—key ingredients for scaling beyond domestic boundaries.

This initiative also aligns with India’s National AI Strategy, which places strong emphasis on cross-border collaboration, knowledge exchange, and integration into global innovation ecosystems. By connecting Indian startups with European markets and investors, the programme is intended to accelerate growth while positioning India as a hub for AI-led innovation.

Designed by HEC Paris, the programme focuses not just on scaling businesses, but also on refining strategy, strengthening governance, and fostering responsible AI development.

Strengthening India’s AI Vision

With initiatives like this, the IndiaAI Mission is steadily building pathways for Indian startups to compete globally. By combining domestic innovation with international exposure, the programme reflects a clear intent: to position India not just as a consumer of AI technologies but as a creator of globally relevant solutions.
