The Trump Mobile T1 Phone may finally reach customers soon. The company has started sending review units to media outlets. This suggests customer shipments could begin shortly. The phone was first expected to launch last August. However, many buyers who paid a $100 pre-order fee did not receive any updates for months.

New Design Raises Questions

The latest version of the T1 Phone looks very different from the original design shown earlier. One noticeable detail is the American flag on the back panel. The flag appears to have 11 stripes instead of the usual 13. The branding has also changed. Earlier, the company said the phone would be ‘Made in the USA.’ Now, it says the device is ‘Assembled in the USA.’ This likely implies that most parts of the phone are imported from other countries.

T1 Phone Price and Expected Specs

The launch price remains unchanged at $499 for the 256GB model. While that price is considered affordable in the US smartphone market, the expected hardware may not fully match the cost. The company has not officially confirmed the specifications yet. However, a company representative earlier hinted at a Snapdragon 7-series processor, a 5,000 mAh battery, and a 50MP main camera. The phone is also expected to include an ultrawide and a telephoto camera.

Possible HTC Connection

The T1 Phone is also said to support microSD card expansion and a 3.5mm headphone jack. These features are now rare in modern smartphones. Because of the design and feature list, some reports suggest the T1 Phone could be a rebranded version of the HTC U24 Pro.
