Xpressbees, one of India’s leading third-party logistics companies, has brought in Mohit Sardana to lead its B2C business as Chief Operating Officer. The appointment signals the company’s intent to sharpen its consumer-facing operations at a time when e-commerce and quick commerce continue to expand across the country.
Sardana brings over two decades of experience in strategy and operations. Previously, he was part of the leadership team at Blinkit, overseeing operations at the quick commerce firm. Before that, he worked as CEO for Zomato between 2018 and 2023. Earlier roles at MakeMyTrip and Accenture further add to his experience in steering high-growth businesses.
Commenting on the move, Xpressbees’ MD and CEO Amitava Saha said Sardana’s expertise in scaling businesses and driving digital-first operations will strengthen the company’s consumer-facing growth. Sardana, in turn, said he was eager to shape solutions, improve customer experiences, and build at scale in a sector witnessing accelerated change.
The appointment comes just months after Xpressbees named Uday Sharma as Chief Business Officer for its B2B, cross-border, and 3PL segments. Together, the leadership reshuffle underscores the company’s focus on building out both consumer and enterprise capabilities. Founded as FirstCry’s logistics arm before becoming independent in 2015, Xpressbees now competes with players such as Delhivery, Blue Dart, and Shadowfax.
