Google has just launched Doppl, a cutting-edge, AI-powered fashion app that’s set to change how we experience style. Developed under the Google Labs umbrella, Doppl enables users to see how any outfit might look on them—simply by uploading a photo or screenshot. The app creates a personalised, animated version of you, making fashion exploration more fun, visual, and interactive.

From Style Inspo to Instant Try-On

The new app builds on Google Shopping’s virtual try-on technology which allows users to try billions of clothing items by uploading their image. Doppl takes this a step further: it lets you upload any outfit image—whether it’s something your friend wore, a look you spotted at a thrift store, or a style you saved from Instagram or Pinterest. Within seconds, the app generates a virtual try-on featuring a digital, animated version of you in that outfit.

Doppl Turns Static Outfits Into Moving Style Videos

What makes Doppl especially unique is its ability to convert static outfit photos into AI-generated videos. These short, dynamic clips show how the clothing might actually move and fit on your body, giving you a much better feel for the overall look. No more guessing if a style suits you—Doppl’s AI fashion tech helps you visualise it in motion.

Save, Share & Experiment

Whether you’re trying to figure out what to wear tomorrow or simply playing with fashion ideas, Doppl adds a new layer of fun and creativity. You can save your favourite digital looks or share them with friends or followers. It’s not just a tool—it’s a playground for style experimentation, powered by AI and visual technology.

Still Experimental & Evolving

As part of Google Labs, Doppl is in its early experimental phase. That means you might see the occasional glitch, such as small inaccuracies in fit, appearance, or clothing details. But that’s part of the process. Google is actively collecting feedback to improve the app and refine the underlying AI styling algorithms. Every try-on helps shape the future of this promising fashion tech innovation.

Only in US yet

Doppl is now officially live on both iOS and Android platforms, though it's currently limited to users in the United States. Still, this is a major step forward in digital styling. As AI fashion apps become more mainstream, Doppl stands out as a powerful blend of creativity, personalisation, and technology—all in the palm of your hand.
