In a bid to make Gemini more personalized, proactive, and powerful, Google introduced the “Scheduled Actions” feature, enabling the AI model to remember and ping the user for various actions, ranging from meetings, calls, briefs, or anything else, based on the instructions given in the prompt. The scheduled actions feature has been designed to proactively handle the tasks of the user. It enables the users to plan the stuff in order not to miss any of it.
With scheduled actions, users can now streamline routine tasks or receive personalized updates directly from Gemini. Enabling more customization and value for the users, Google has enabled users to manage these scheduled actions anytime from the scheduled actions page within the settings of the Gemini app.
Scheduled Actions: What Kind of Tasks Does It Support?
With Gemini’s new capabilities, you can start your day with a personalized summary of your calendar and unread emails or receive a creative boost each Monday with a list of blog ideas generated just for you. Stay updated with real-time updates on your favorite sports team, or schedule one-time tasks, like requesting a summary of an award show the day after it airs.
You can do all this with just a prompt. Tell Gemini what you need and when, and it will handle the rest with ease.
