Meta Launches Paid Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp Plans Worldwide

Meta has launched paid subscription plans for Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp with exclusive features, custom themes, and Story tools.

Meta has announced new subscription plans for Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp users worldwide. The company also said more paid plans for Meta AI users, creators, and businesses will launch soon.

Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus Pricing

The new Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus plans are priced at $3.99 per month. WhatsApp Plus will cost $2.99 per month. Meta said these new plans will work alongside Meta Verified and will not replace the existing verification service.

New Features for Facebook and Instagram Users

Subscribers of Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus will get access to several new features. These include advanced Story insights like rewatch counts and the option to create unlimited audience lists beyond Close Friends. Users can also extend Stories for more than 24 hours, preview Stories before posting, and search Story viewer lists. Another feature allows users to post directly to their profile without showing the post in their followers’ feeds.

Other additions include animated Super Heart reactions, custom app icons, custom bio fonts, and support for more profile pins.

WhatsApp Plus Features

WhatsApp Plus users will get custom ringtones, new themes, more pinned chats, extra sticker packs, and better list customisation features. The company has not yet shared the rollout timeline for all regions.
