Mappls will integrate DMRC’s API within the app. With the help of this, 3.5 crore users will be able to access real-time data such as routes, fares, and train frequencies on the app itself.
Enhanced Urban Navigation Features
Mappls mentioned in a statement that the integration will help the general public to locate nearby services, check optimised routes with estimated travel times, and report civic and traffic issues such as accidents, congestion, parking challenges, and waterlogging. The company will then share these inputs directly with the relevant authorities.
