Tesla is gearing up to open its second showroom in India, this time in the heart of the national capital. Following the brand's debut dealership in Mumbai, the electric carmaker is now setting up shop in Delhi’s Aerocity, located near the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.

The upcoming showroom is currently under construction and is said to be nearing completion. A photo of the under-construction site has already surfaced on social media, sparking excitement among EV enthusiasts and Tesla fans. Once operational, the dealership will cater to customers in Delhi, as well as the wider National Capital Region (NCR), thereby expanding the company’s retail footprint and strengthening its presence in India.

Tesla Model Y Launch Sparks Digital Expansion
The move comes shortly after Tesla officially introduced the Model Y to the Indian market. On the same day, the company launched its India-specific website, marking a coordinated push to establish a more localised consumer experience. Initially, customers visiting Tesla’s Indian website were restricted to registering their vehicles in only three cities—Mumbai, New Delhi, and Gurugram. However, the company has now removed this limitation. The updated platform allows prospective buyers to register their Tesla in any state or union territory across the country.
