FirstClub, a quick commerce startup floated by former chief executive of Flipkart-owned Cleartrip Ayyappan R, has claimed to be India's first platform to provide clean-label groceries in Bengaluru. Available on both Android and iOS, the service currently caters to selected PIN codes in the Sarjapur Road and Bellandur areas.

Clean‑Label Commitment

Claiming to be a platform to eliminate over 200 artificial additives—including preservatives, colourants, and benzoates—FirstClub ensures every item undergoes rigorous testing and is sourced directly from farms or trusted brands. Ayyappan emphasises that they stock only the "highest-quality products" across categories like fresh produce, dairy, bakery items, and groceries.

Focus on Quality Over Speed

Unlike the current trend of 10-minute deliveries, FirstClub deliberately prioritises product purity and consumer trust over ultra-fast delivery times. The launch of the startup follows a successful seed round in December last year, raising $8 million from prominent investors, including Accel, RTP Global, Blume Founders Fund, Quiet Capital, along with angel investors such as Binny Bansal, Kunal Shah, Mukesh Bansal, and Lalit Keshre.
