The newly deployed system focuses on improving safety at cross service roads, key points where aircraft and ground vehicle movements intersect. These areas are among the most sensitive within airport operations, requiring precise coordination and clear right-of-way management. According to the airport operator, the system combines AI-driven computer vision, intelligent automation, and a centralised control mechanism. Together, these technologies enable real-time monitoring and decision-making, helping minimise risks while ensuring smoother coordination between aircraft and ground vehicles.
