Samsung Electronics rolls out updates in the refrigerator software of its flagship Bespoke AI Series Refrigerators with screens, set to launch in 2025. The new updates, including the Voice ID feature, are all set to deliver an ultra-personalized experience to the users, powered by Samsung’s Bixby. The Voice ID feature enables multi-user voice recognition by identifying individual voices registered on either the refrigerator or a connected Galaxy mobile device. 

This allows the appliance to tailor features and responses to each recognized user, bringing a personalized touch to shared home appliances. The update prioritizes personalized experience and convenience. Through this, Samsung aims to facilitate an AI-powered home that adapts intuitively to the user's needs.

How does this work? 

With the new update, the Voice ID feature also enables seamless interactions with the refrigerator screen for users. Further, Bixby intelligently switches to each user’s Samsung account based on the recognized user. It then synchronizes the appliance’s display modes with the settings on the user’s mobile phone, such as color inversion or grayscale.

The result is enhanced convenience and functionality tailored to individual preferences.
