Ericsson Secures Multi-year Managed Services Deal With Bharti Airtel
Under the agreement, Ericsson will enable intent-based operations for various network requirements served by Bharti Airtel, including 4G, 5G, network slicing, and FWA, among others.

Bharti Airtel, India's 2nd biggest telco, awards Ericsson a multi-year NOC Managed Services (MS) contract. Under this agreement, Ericsson will enable intent-based operations, powered by its centralized Network Operations Center (NOC), to manage Airtel services across 4G, 5G NSA, 5G SA, Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), Private Networks, and Network Slicing.

This partnership will see Ericsson manage Airtel’s pan-India network through its state-of-the-art NOC while scaling FWA and network slicing across the country. It further strengthens the long-standing partnership between the two companies, also strengthening Ericsson’s leadership in delivering exceptional value to Airtel customers.

Ericsson and Bharti Airtel share a partnership that spans more than 25 years, covering multiple generations of mobile communication technologies. This latest announcement comes shortly after the two companies teamed up on 5G Core, marking another step forward in accelerating 5G evolution.
