India’s telecom regulator has appointed Harinder Kumar as Secretary of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for a two-year term.
The appointment places Kumar in one of the most important administrative positions within the regulator at a time when India’s telecom industry is undergoing rapid change, driven by 5G rollouts, expanding digital infrastructure and growing policy discussions around connectivity and spectrum management.
