This wireless device verifies Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transactions through real-time audio alerts, aiming to streamline payment confirmations in bustling retail environments.

PhonePe's smart speakers: A Digital Payment Solution

The newly launched SmartSpeaker is equipped with 4G connectivity, ensuring reliable network performance even in areas with limited coverage. With support for up to 21 languages, it caters to India's diverse linguistic landscape, making it accessible to a broad range of users. The device boasts a standby battery life exceeding seven days and features fast-charging capabilities, reaching full charge in approximately 75 minutes.

Designed with Merchants in Mind

PhonePe emphasises that the SmartSpeaker retains popular features from its predecessor, including the celebrity voice notification system. The compact design allows for easy placement in crowded counter spaces, and the built-in speaker delivers clear audio confirmations of successful transactions. This focus on practicality and user experience underscores PhonePe's commitment to supporting merchants across the country.

Affordable and Flexible Pricing Options

Merchants can choose between two subscription plans:

Monthly Plan: A one-time setup fee of ₹318 and a monthly subscription charge of ₹125, automatically deducted via UPI Autopay.

Zero-Rental Plan: A one-time setup fee of ₹999 with a reduced monthly subscription fee of ₹25.
