Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), the world’s largest contract chipmaker, is reportedly putting its plans for a new chip production facility in Japan on hold. According to the Wall Street Journal, the company is reshuffling its global expansion strategy in response to potential tariff risks posed by US policies.
