Exicom’s Role as a Technology Enabler

As a technology enabler, Exicom supports the mobile charging concept by providing advanced charging solutions and expertise. According to Anant Nahata, Managing Director and CEO of Exicom, this partnership addresses critical pain points in EV adoption, especially grid readiness challenges in urban areas. He describes the solution as “capex-light” compared to traditional fixed infrastructure, making it a cost-effective alternative for rapid deployment.

Strategic Collaborations to Strengthen EV Ecosystem

This initiative is part of Exicom’s broader strategy to strengthen India’s electric mobility infrastructure. The company has previously announced partnerships with Germany-based Hubject for interoperability solutions, Ionage for integrated charger management systems, and Mufin Green Infra for turnkey customer solutions. These collaborations aim to create a comprehensive ecosystem that supports the growth of EV adoption across the country.

Charger on Wheels’ Technological Advancements

Charger on Wheels utilises a technology platform that supports real-time booking, tracking, and energy optimisation. This service-based model targets convenience and accessibility across urban and semi-urban markets in India, where traditional charging infrastructure deployment faces various constraints. The mobile charging approach offers potential solutions to several challenges facing India’s EV charging network, including limited grid capacity in dense urban areas and regulatory restrictions on charging equipment placement in certain building types.
