Amid multiple developments from the India AI Impact Summit 2026, Indian AI startups stood out by introducing a range of advanced technologies, signalling a shift from IT services to deeper innovation.
The event highlighted robotics, aerospace technology and next-generation AI models during two days of presentations and demonstrations.

Startups Push Beyond Traditional Service Models
Several deep-tech firms presented products with real-world applications:
- Autonomous delivery robots: Brooklyn-based Ottonomy.IO demonstrated its Ottobot series designed for autonomous logistics in hospitals, airports and city environments.
- AI marketing tools: Cyringe AI showcased a platform designed to automate social media content creation and optimisation for small and medium businesses.
- Electric air taxis: Chennai’s ePlane Company, incubated at IIT Madras, is developing compact electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft aimed at urban mobility, including future air ambulance services.
These innovations reflect a trend among Indian startups to build solutions beyond business process automation and traditional IT services.

AI Research and Next-Gen Models Gain Focus
Alongside product showcases, research-oriented efforts were highlighted. Delhi-based Chariot is building multimodal AI systems capable of reasoning across text, vision and audio, with early access to its flagship model in use cases ranging from voice assistants to localisation tools.
The summit featured India’s wider AI ecosystem, including government-backed initiatives to support GPU infrastructure and open-source advancements.
The keynote sessions featured a mix of industry leaders, founders and young innovators, underscoring India’s accelerating role in the global AI landscape.
