Optilink Networks Private Ltd, a vertically integrated telecom and electronics manufacturer, is set to display its indigenous optical networking solutions at the 33rd Convergence India Expo 2026.

The plan is to reinforce India’s growing focus on self-reliant development of broadband and fibre infrastructure.

Founded in 2006, Optilink began its journey as a distributor of telecom and networking equipment, building strong relationships with internet service providers (ISPs), multi-system operators (MSOs), and telecom operators across India, including major public-sector networks.

As India’s broadband ecosystem expanded, the company transitioned strategically from distribution to manufacturing and research and development (R&D), establishing in-house engineering capabilities to develop indigenous optical networking technologies.

Manufacturing-Led Growth and Technology Portfolio

Since 2020, Optilink has positioned itself as a manufacturing-driven technology provider, delivering Optical Line Terminal (OLT) and Optical Network Terminal (ONT) solutions for domestic and international markets, with an emphasis on scale, regulatory compliance and long-term product reliability.

The company’s portfolio spans Passive Optical Network (PON) technologies, including Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON), Gigabit Ethernet Passive Optical Network (GEPON) and XGS-GPON platforms. This includes ONUs/ONTs, core and access switches, routers, Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches, and high-capacity Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) modules ranging from 1G to 400G. The offerings also include fibre modules, passive and active Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) and Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technologies, optical passive network products and data centre accessories.

Optilink operates an advanced manufacturing facility integrating precision assembly lines with automated testing for telecom and electronics hardware. With in-house teams specialising in printed circuit board (PCB) design, firmware development and hardware integration, the company maintains end-to-end control from prototyping to packaging. Compliance with Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Conformité Européenne (CE) standards supports its readiness for both domestic and global deployments.
