Smart Mobility Pitch Session Focuses on EV and Transport Innovation

The Smart Mobility Pitch Session, powered by Automotive Research Association of India – Advanced Mobility Transformation and Innovation Foundation (ARAI–AMTIF), highlighted enterprises working on electric mobility, intelligent transport systems and sustainable mobility solutions.

The shortlisted businesses presented their operational models, addressing the urban challenges of congestion, inefficient transport systems, and environmental impact.

The stage served as a platform for founders to showcase their solutions to investors, policymakers, and industry stakeholders, positioning their technologies within India’s evolving mobility ecosystem.

ARAI–AMTIF extended support beyond the pitch through the ‘Emerging Innov8r Award’, recognising innovation in the mobility segment.

Selected enterprises were also given access to curated industry platforms and stakeholder networks.

In addition, the NAVIG8 Mentorship Initiative offers structured support through eight mentorship sessions over the course of one year, connecting startups with experts and industry leaders.

ParkoBot Recognised for Smart Parking Solutions

ParkoBot was named the winner of the Smart Mobility Pitch Session for its automated parking technology designed to address space constraints in urban areas. The startup focuses on optimising parking infrastructure using robotics and intelligent allocation systems.

Its solution automates vehicle parking and retrieval, reducing the need for manual intervention and improving efficiency in high-density environments. The technology is suited for commercial complexes, residential buildings and urban hubs where parking availability remains limited.

The company’s approach aligns with broader smart city priorities, including efficient use of infrastructure and reduced traffic congestion. By streamlining parking operations and cutting idle vehicle movement, the solution also contributes to lower emissions.

The recognition is expected to support ParkoBot’s expansion by improving access to investors, industry partnerships and policy networks.

The Convergence India Expo 2026, now in its 33rd edition, recorded over 41,000 visitors and hosted more than 1,100 curated meetings. The event featured over 280 speakers across 60 sessions and attracted more than 1,000 exhibitors from 23 countries.

With a reported digital reach of over 1.5 billion impressions, the expo continues to position itself as India’s largest technology and innovation platform. The next edition, the 34th Convergence India Expo, is scheduled for March 23–25, 2027, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
