Tata Communications has announced the successful deployment of its advanced digital infrastructure solutions to enable Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s (BSNL) newly launched eSIM services, designed to reach millions of subscribers across the country.
Tata Communications MOVE™ Drives Connectivity
The new service is powered by Tata Communications MOVE™, a GSMA-certified eSIM subscription management platform delivered through Tata Communications Collaboration Services Private Ltd. (TCCSPL), a fully owned subsidiary of Tata Communications Ltd. With this platform, BSNL gains the ability to seamlessly provision eSIMs for mobile subscribers nationwide, ensuring secure and efficient digital SIM activation.

BSNL eSIM Offers Remote, Secure Activation
BSNL’s eSIM rollout enhances mobile connectivity by enabling users to activate 2G, 3G, and 4G services remotely via a secure QR code, completely removing the need for physical SIM cards. For devices with dual-SIM functionality, subscribers can now pair an eSIM with a physical SIM card, making it easier to connect securely with local operators while travelling abroad.
