Tata Communications has appointed Rupesh Chokshi as Executive Vice President, Global Business Head – Network Services and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Chokshi will join the company on July 6, 2026, become a member of Tata Communications’ Global Management Committee and officially take charge of the role from August 1, 2026.

He has more than 25 years of experience in networking, cloud connectivity, cybersecurity and software-defined infrastructure. During his career, he has led teams across product strategy, engineering and operations for enterprise and telecom businesses. Before joining Tata Communications, Chokshi was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Application Security at Akamai Technologies. Earlier, he held senior leadership positions at AT&T.
In his new role, Chokshi will lead Tata Communications’ Network Services business. He will oversee the company’s network product strategy, support the development of AI-powered network services, and help expand its global digital infrastructure.
