JioStar has acquired the exclusive linear and digital broadcasting rights for The Hundred 2026 in India from the official rights holder, Sony Pictures Networks India. Under the agreement, all 68 matches from the men’s and women’s competitions will be broadcast live exclusively on JioHotstar and the Star Sports Network.
The sixth edition of England’s 100-ball cricket tournament will begin on July 21 with a double-header at The Oval. The opening fixtures will see MI London take on SunRisers Leeds in the women’s competition, followed by the corresponding men’s match. The tournament will conclude with the men’s and women’s finals at Lord’s on August 16.

The deal adds another major international cricket property to JioStar’s growing sports portfolio, giving fans in India access to the tournament across both television and digital platforms.
Introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), The Hundred has quickly established itself as a distinctive cricket competition, using a fast-paced 100-ball format to attract new audiences and offer a shorter, more accessible version of the sport.

The tournament features eight city-based franchises representing London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Nottingham, Southampton, Cardiff and Bristol. With all 68 matches available on JioHotstar and Star Sports, cricket fans in India will be able to follow the action throughout the 2026 season.
