New Delhi is set to host the first-ever “India AI Film Festival” on February 17, 2026, at the UNESCO-listed Qutub Minar complex.

The event runs alongside the India AI Impact Summit, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and creative professionals to explore the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in filmmaking and visual storytelling.

Festival Set to Bring AI and Storytelling Together

Organisers said the India AI Film Festival will showcase AI-driven short films from India and abroad, with screenings scheduled throughout the evening.

The event includes panel discussions, keynote talks and an awards ceremony recognising standout work, with prizes totalling around USD 12,000. NVIDIA is among the sponsors backing the initiative, emphasising the intersection of technology and creative arts.

The festival will also feature industry speakers and sessions, including “The Future of Storytelling,” as well as networking opportunities designed to connect film professionals with tech innovators. The historic venue choice aims to blend India’s cultural heritage with cutting-edge digital creativity.

Shadowing the Reflection of India AI Impact Summit

The AI Film Festival coincides with the larger India AI Impact Summit 2026, a multi-day event running from February 16 to 20 in New Delhi. The summit has drawn global tech executives from major companies and features hundreds of sessions on artificial intelligence policy, industry trends and innovation.

The summit aims to position India as a hub for AI development and collaboration, with exhibitors, startups and thought leaders participating in discussions on responsible AI adoption. The film festival adds a cultural dimension to the broader technology dialogue unfolding at the summit.
