EKA Mobility, a prominent electric vehicle manufacturer, announced that it has secured two significant orders from the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation UPSRTC, valued at approximately ₹150 crore. The orders involve the delivery and upkeep of 70 air-conditioned electric buses. The agreement includes the supply of 40 12-meter AC buses and 30 9-meter AC buses. EKA Mobility emphasized that the addition of these buses will play a pivotal role in strengthening UPSRTC’s fleet and enhancing public transport services in the region. To ensure seamless operations, EKA Mobility will also provide charging infrastructure as part of the project. Furthermore, both contracts include comprehensive long-term annual maintenance agreements to sustain optimal performance over the next decade.
