Noida International Airport NIA has announced a partnership with Mahindra Logistics Mobility to offer a premium, all-electric taxi service for passengers travelling to and from the airport. This service will operate round the clock, seven days a week, providing an environmentally sustainable travel option for airport users. The taxi service will feature exclusive pick-up and drop-off areas located at the arrival and departure kerbs, minimising the walking distance for passengers. These conveniently placed facilities are designed to enhance the overall travel experience by ensuring hassle-free access to transportation.
Multiple booking options for passenger ease
Passengers can book rides through a variety of channels, including a dedicated mobile app, an official website, a call center, airline partnerships, and airport kiosks. This multi-channel approach ensures accessibility and booking convenience for all travellers, regardless of their preferred method of interaction.
Real-time fleet management for seamless service
The taxi fleet will be managed dynamically, with real-time adjustments based on passenger demand and flight schedules. This system is aimed at reducing wait times and ensuring the availability of services during peak hours, providing a seamless and efficient experience for travellers.
A commitment to sustainability and comfort
Christoph Schnellmann, CEO of Noida International Airport, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We have joined hands with Mahindra Logistics Mobility to introduce a premium, all-electric taxi service that offers a seamless and environmentally friendly ride from the airport to your destination. This first-of-its-kind airport-branded cab service will set a new benchmark for passenger convenience and environmental responsibility.” The initiative underscores NIA’s commitment to blending passenger convenience with sustainability, paving the way for a greener future in air travel and transportation.
