The minister framed the achievement within the context of India’s evolving industrial landscape, where initiatives like Skill India, Make in India and Digital India have helped prepare a skilled workforce and strengthen domestic manufacturing capabilities.

He further mentioned that the Rozgar Mela goes beyond issuing just appointment letters; it further provides dignity in work and equitable growth. By linking training, employment and entrepreneurship, the event is designed to empower young professionals to contribute to India’s growth story.

In his address, the minister also pointed to Tamil Nadu’s contributions as a hub of industry and talent. He noted that Chennai accounts for more than 10% of India’s automobile exports and that the state’s information technology sector employs over six lakh people, reflecting the region’s diverse economic strength.
