In a significant organisational change, Microsoft has appointed LinkedIn CEO Ryan Roslansky to also lead its Office division. Announced via an internal memo from CEO Satya Nadella, this move aims to unify Microsoft’s productivity tools with its advancing AI initiatives. Roslansky will serve as Executive Vice President of Office, reporting to Rajesh Jha, Executive Vice President for Experiences and Devices, while maintaining his role as LinkedIn CEO, reporting directly to Nadella.

Roslansky’s new responsibilities encompass oversight of Microsoft’s core productivity applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. He will also manage the Microsoft 365 Copilot application, an AI-powered tool designed to enhance user productivity across these platforms.
