Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Z TriFold, its most ambitious foldable yet, featuring a multi-fold design that expands into a 10-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The device folds inward using a dual-rail hinge system housed in titanium, paired with an armor aluminum frame for added strength. To keep the profile slim without compromising durability, Samsung has used a ceramic glass fiber–reinforced polymer for the back panel. On the outside, the phone offers a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover screen.

Powering the Galaxy Z TriFold is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, matched with 16GB of RAM. Buyers can choose between 512GB and 1TB storage variants. The rear camera setup features a 200MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera. Both the cover screen and the main display house 10MP front cameras.
The phone is equipped with a 5,600mAh three-cell battery that supports 45W wired charging, fast wireless charging, and Wireless PowerShare. Connectivity and durability features include IP48 water resistance, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and support for dual physical SIMs along with multiple eSIM profiles. Despite its complex design, the device weighs 309g and measures just 3.9mm at its thinnest point when unfolded. It runs Android 16 with One UI 8.

Productivity is another key focus. Standalone Samsung DeX allows users to set up a desktop-style workspace directly from the device, while the expansive display enables multitasking with up to three apps simultaneously. Samsung’s latest Galaxy AI features also come built in, offering enhanced editing tools, smarter browsing, and real-time contextual assistance through Gemini Live.
The Galaxy Z TriFold will roll out in select markets and includes a Google AI Pro trial and a one-time display repair benefit for early buyers.
